Our client is a global leader in Industrial Automation and currently, they are looking for Senior/ Industrialization Engineer, Final Assembly and Design to support continuation and new product industrialization activities in accordance with the Common Product Development (CPD) processes.
· Be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing plans in support of the Business Unit’s strategic objectives.
· Ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability.
· Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
· Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines, and coordinates execution of prototype and pilot activities.
· Works on issues of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires review of relevant factors.
· Exercises judgments within defined procedures to determine appropriate action.
· Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
· This includes involvement with global industrialization engineering team members as well as collaboration across Operations and Engineering Services functions to ensure a smooth product release into manufacturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
· Actively serve as the Industrialization representative, in all phases, on NPI/Continuation Engineering projects
· Develop and update the Manufacturing Plan
· Design production floor layouts, product producibility and processes
· Identify assembly equipment, tooling, and fixture requirements
· Participate in the procurement, installation and validation activities
· Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) analyse
· Track product manufacturing cost throughout the NPI project
· Lead Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
· Create Documented Work Instructions (DWI)
· Coordinate and involvement in prototype and pilot build and evaluation activities
· Ensure compliance to all production environmental, health, and safety requirements
· Facilitate final acceptance of all new assembly processes
· Apply engineering problem solving skills and familiarity of company systems to perform duties and responsibilities
· Assist with the development and implementation of cost reduction and process improvement projects
· Exhibit good organizational and interpersonal skills
· Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form, to a broad audience of varying technical and cultural background
· Collaborate with others from within and outside of the Industrialization group to achieve common objectives
· Use facts and logic to influence others
Desired Qualification and Experience:
· Bachelor degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent degree or education
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
· Demonstrated understanding of New Product Introduction process
· Experience with Project Management, Design For Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
· Experienced in product cost estimation and optimization and establishing bills of materials and routings
· Experience in manufacturing or design engineering in a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) manufacturing environment
· Ability to execute transactions in an Enterprise Resource Planning system, preferably SAP

· Execute project work according to project schedules
· Support the Design Execution of NPI and CE initiative to meet objectives around total product cost using Df(x) tools and consistent feedback early in the design process
· Supporting on time delivery of a comprehensive Manufacturing Design Specification to be carried out but the Industrialization Build team located in operations location
