Account Manager


Our client is a global system provider of innovative drive solutions and they are looking for an Account Manager, Singapore. He / She will be also be responsible for sales engineering and technical customer service activities that meet or exceed customer expectations; as well as to promote the revenue growth of company’s products for a designated list of key accounts in Singapore.


  • Develop relationships with key people at each designated key account
  • Prepare, select, and communicate quotations to designated key accounts
  • Coordinate order processing to be efficient and accurate
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend products
  • Expedite and provide status updates on orders for designated key accounts
  • Document benefits and cost savings to designated key accounts when requested
  • Inventory evaluation and recommendations to meet customer needs
  • Follow up on all warranty or service repairs for designated key accounts
  • Prepare and conduct presentations of products and services to designated key accounts (Sales Calls)
  • Coordinate technical support when necessary
  • Handle calls and all general customer service support duties for all customers within the district when not involved with designated key account activities
  • Determine sales potential for designated key accounts through inquiry, observation, or periodical research.
  • Utilize SAP and CRM to accomplish standard work
  • All other duties as needed to meet customer expectations


  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree Required
  • 8 years of outside sales experience
  • Understanding of inverter / servo drive / AGV (automated guided vehicle) will be preferred
  • Possess own vehicle for sales activities
  • Ability to prioritize work; Strong interpersonal skills; Good mathematical & spatial skills; strong communication & computer skills.
