Our global client is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for their Thailand office located in Lat Krabang, Bangkok to oversee the finance division, including the manufacturing facility, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company. Successful candidates will possess a strong background in manufacturing costing and taxation since our client operate in the export zone with 100% export business. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, financial reporting, and costing. This role involves establishing robust financial procedures and controls to support informed decision-making and foster sustainable growth.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

  • Oversee all day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, control accounts, and costing.
  • Provide relevant and timely reports to enable a balanced and objective assessment of the group’s strategy and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
  • Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with company/group policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and systems within the business.
  • Coordinate and ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Manage tax compliance with external tax accountants and group tax.
  • Lead the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze profitability by customers, segments, and products.
  • Serve as a business partner for all finance-related questions from the country manager, headquarters, and other departments.
  • Support the sales team on new promotions and set finance and non-finance performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Communicate intensively with the team and business units to address problems as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, finance principles, and costing.
  • Strong background in manufacturing costing and taxation due to export zone with 100% export business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP or ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing a finance team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • People leadership skills with the ability to set clear direction, challenging targets, and priorities for the team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement best practice solutions.
