MEMS Chip Design Engineer (Principal / Senior / Staff Engineer)

They are investing in research and manufacturing to power future smart devices, and bring optimized high performance of smartphone solutions to a wide range of connected devices. Their global reach covers 28 offices in Asia-Pacific area, Europe and America, 9 production sites in China, Vietnam and the Philippines, and 15 R&D centres in China, USA, Finland, Denmark, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. They are looking to fill multiple positions of MEMS Chip Design Engineer (Principal / Senior / Staff Engineer) to meet their expansion needs primarily in Singapore. Those with the necessary experience in MEMS Microphone Chip design optimization, new structure design, simulation, characterization and layout will be highly sought and will be considered for senior roles.

KEY OUTPUTS: WHAT WE CAN EXPECT FROM YOU

• Design and analysis of MEMS chip
• Using Finite Element Analysis tools to solve problems spanning acoustic, electrostatic, mechanical and thermal domains
• Works with process and test engineers to optimize simulation and design
• Characterization of MEMS device
• MEMS design layout

 A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS LIKELY TO HAVE:

• PhD/Master’s degree with minimum 3 years or more of relevant experience in acoustic/sound/microphone MEMS chip design will be preferred.
• Understand of operation principles of MEMS device
• Knowledge of MEMS fabrication processes
• FEA modelling skills
• MEMS device characterization experience
• MEMS layout experience
• Team leading experience will be preferred
